UC Irvine Scholarship Application

The Laguna Beach branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW-LB) awards two scholarships to women undergraduate students specializing in STEM at UC Irvine who have experienced a break in attendance in their educational path. 

Eligibility Requirements:

• Undergraduate woman currently enrolled in one of these UCI schools: Biological Sciences, Engineering, Information and Computer Science, and Physical Sciences.
• Experienced a break in attendance in their higher education.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA at UCI.

Procedures:

The deadline for submission for an AAUW-LB Scholarship is May 1, 2023. Applications will not be considered after this date. The two scholarship recipients will be notified in June 2023. Each award is $2,000.

1. Application – Complete the application form and save it on your computer.
2. Transcripts – Obtain all higher education transcripts.
3. Submit – Between January 1, 2023 and May 1, 2023, email your completed application form and transcripts to: Rudi Berkelhamer at aauwlbemails@gmail.com. This email must be received by May 1, 2023.
