Annual Wine Tasting
For years, AAUW Laguna Beach has held a holiday wine tasting event in December to raise scholarships for college women. This is a great low-key way to socialize and fulfill the mission at the same time. We hope to resume the tradition in 2023.
2022
As we celebrated our 55th anniversary as a branch, members were asked to reach out to friends and family to fundraise for our programs by sending out postcards, letters, and posting on social media.

“Spring” Literary Luncheon held in the fall.
Due to COVID-19, our annual spring fundraiser, the Literary Luncheon, could not be held until fall.
2020
Fall Scholarship Appeal
During COVID the fall fundraiser went virtual! A video featuring some of our recent scholarship recipients was produced and shared widely by our members who made personal appeals to friends and family via postcards, letter, and social media.
2019
Runway for Success
In the fall of 2019, the branch hosted a tremendously successful fashion show with clothing and jewelry sales and a live auction. This event was open to the public, featured several our own board members as models, and several of our scholarships winners as speakers.
