About this Event
THE American Association of University Women Laguna Beach Branch LITERARY LUNCHEON LAGUNA BEACH FESTIVAL of WOMEN AUTHORS celebrates women authors in March during national Women’s History Month. Fundraising proceeds are administered by AAUW Laguna Beach’s nonprofit arm, the 501-c-3 AAUW Laguna Beach Foundation. Funds raised support tutoring elementary school children, scholarships for middle school girls to attend Tech Trek STEM summer camps at UCSD, scholarships for graduating high school girls, and for college women at OCC, LCAD, and UCI. Funds help carry out AAUW’s mission of advancing gender equity for women and girls through research, education, and advocacy.

The Literary Luncheon furthers our promise to help deserving women and girls and, and through them, society at large – a promise of equity, leadership, scholarship, and excellence.
Doors open at 11am for a no-host bar, a silent auction, opportunity drawings, book sales and to meet the authors. The luncheon and program runs from 12 noon to 2:30.
